Rise of Low-Code and No-Code Trends

Two trends in the coding world are on the rise. Low-Code on the one hand and No-Code platforms on the other.

The low-code no-code trend is quite a new trend, and there is a serious confusion in the industry, especially among customers. First, let’s take a look at the low-no code output;

Low / No-code structures, unlike traditional coding languages, have some ready-made elements and a drag-and-drop structure. In this way, users had the freedom to use their imagination more freely, similar to how children build something with game blocks. Thanks to this, more and more people can develop applications with more and more speed.

What choice should you choose between low code and no code development? First of all, there are some basic differences between the two. Namely; You will need some form of coding if the application to be prepared exchanges data with other systems or in case of need for customization or additional development according to demand. In this case, Low-code development will be your biggest assistant. Because there is always an opportunity to interfere with the code. If the application to be prepared does not include requirements such as integration, development or customization, you can choose a no-code platform.

The main point here is the correct determination of the business strategy. You should also consider tomorrow of your application. There may be no need for integration or additional development today; will it be so tomorrow, next month or a year later? If you are sure that it will not happen, the no-code platform may be your right arm. If you are not sure, then a danger awaits you. When the application you have developed on the no-code platform requires intervention to the code tomorrow, you will have to go back and start all over again as this will not allow. You will have to spend your money, time and labor again. No-code platforms contain many tools that are generally needed.

However, considering the different sectors and needs in the changing world, how much these can meet your needs should be considered well.

Speaking of the changing world, another fact is this; Today, people or small businesses are increasing rapidly all over the world. These are not developers or have not received programming. Nevertheless, people who want to create something, business with an entrepreneurial spirit or a need. They also need a specific application for their dream job. An application that they can easily and quickly implement without drowning in details. Here, low-code can exceed the needs of such individuals or businesses. So what if things go well? If the business grows and starts to increase its production, sales and employment? At this point, it will inevitably be necessary to switch from no-code structure to low-code structure.
